Firmware upgrade problem!

I have downloaded the latest firmware for my DDigital box but cannot get it on my box. I have got the STB manager to do it but it keeps saying "The downloading is not requested". Do I need to put my box back to factory reset to get it to work? Thanks in antisipation!

Gaz be careful here mate.

To the best of my knowledge the only "fix" out for non card based boxes is for the kryptview. DO NOT flash this to a ddigital box.

The firmware is not a fix though is it? The keys won't work with my current firmware, I'm thinking of updating it.

Hi Johnny I managed to get my box working by using keymaster to get the keys and using the provider D+ under Nagravision. You will find you only need to change 1 key on each line

Hi Gaz, I tried that but it didn't work. If we'r all in the same boat, how did you get yours working? To what extent? I'v got freeview channels but nowt else. How did you flash your firmware? Is there a link to instructions/files. Cheers mate

download keymaster then press menu then yellow and manually input codes each day for now

had same problem, tried changing com ports, still with no success, i have a laptop running windows vista , my life sux without this box, so how did you fix yours mate?

where do i download this keymaster dank, am desperate now, cheers.

To manually enter the ***s do the following:
Press menu,system settings,system info. Then press o.k. A blue box appears -go to nagra & press ok twice. Up pops the key table. Select D+ on the right and edit the ***s then exit press red o.k to save. Then completely exit out.
If done right ya picture will come on.
Keymaster is on this site, just do a search

Does anyone know how to update the firmware for the DDigital? I've downloaded the .bin file and the mv-envision.exe file.

thanx gaz but tried TW keys so far not working am gon try the other keys, Johnny, you will need to connect the box to your computer. If your comp has a 9 pin male serial com socket ,you need a Serial RS232 9-Pin Female to Female cable, if not then you will need a 9 pin Serial to USB adapter to go with the F to F RS232 serial. I tried it with no success, but give it a go mate, maybe you might be the lucky 1.
