the current latest firmware will not auto update, expect new one out in next couple days for now just manually enter im afraid

This is for the Starview PVR...

Does the latest firmware have the latest keys in then?

and how comes the bloody usb <--> pc mode wont work on my'n, it says it's in the mode after entering the 4 default 0000 padlock numbers, but it wont show up the drives in XP/Vista???????

So how do I shove the firmware on the PVR HDD?

I don't have to do that crappy serial transfer all over again do I?

there is no fix as yet for the starview pvr but there is a fix for the starview3 (THE BOX SUPPER). and its in the downloads section and it works and auto updates we are all still waiting for some nice people to write a fix for the starview 1 and 2
