    V+ Hd box Error code AP52

    Hi,

    I need some help, purchased a Scientific Atlanta V+ Hd box of the bay of e. Came with card put in the Ariel with bonafide signal from V media. Boots up but gets to AP52 then nothing? Can anybody help? I have got into the diag menu and was thinking about putting in the frequency and symbol rate but do not have these...again can anyone help me out, Im in the warrington area. Signal is fine coming through standard box.

    Cheers

          Hi, I'm afraid I don't know what my net id should be, help would much be appreciated. I will put the other settings back to what they were before.

            hi m8, ive managed to find out wot ur settins should be for ur area,ex c/w
            net id=41061
            freq=666.750
            simble=6.952
            but m8 even if u manage to sort ur box ur only goin to clear free views, ie channels 12345 maybe a few more as ur area has gone n3, so u might wont to bear this in mind before doin to much work on ur box..chris...

                  Ap52 is a signal fault meaning the box is not recieving a signal or it cannot read the signal. If you are confident it is getting the correct signal then the box is faulty. I had the same problem a few weeks ago and the friendly vermin chappie replaced the box straight away.

                      hi m8, u will not get any further than ap52 with ur box as the net id is incorrect, the only way to sort net id out on that model is a chip lift, i assume the box has come from another area, realy m8 its not worth the hassal just for a few free veiws, hope u didant pay much for it..
