Just making sure b4 I buy one of these boxes that after purchaseing one I install firmware, connect to lan and set up and get all the channels I want (sports) without any other charges to access the info from lan servers???? Is it all sorted in the firmware? Which is the best box id like hd? thanks.

I know little about the Starview but do have the KVA780 and it's excellent. You need:-
A Box
A live vermin feed
A BB connection.
You flash the box, connect up, scan and you done. Nothing extra to pay and you get every channel except pron and PPV.
In the 8 weeks I've had my box there has been one outage and that was last night for around 2 hours where; I'm guessing, the server (Manchester 1) was down but otherwise it's been perfect.
You can't have HD
FWIW, I was a bit jittery about using my vermin BB connection for the LAN so got the cheapest Plusnet BB connection and use that and it's fine.
