Hello people. Just in need of a bit of info. My mates selling a vm v box with smart card, hes from birmingham but im not, if i bought it could i use it in my area if i linked it to my router and cable? Or would it defo not work at all, sorry for sounding thick, i really am clueless. Thankyou....

You would need to ring vm and tell them you have aquired a new box. They will match the card to that box on your line. Providing you have a subscription with them that is. If you dont have a sub then its useless.sigpic

Extra card mate. Each gets paired to the boxes. Theres no other way round it. Although you will save on installation for another box you will have to pay the fee for multiroom. Extra ?10.
probably better to just try haggle them for free install on another box and pay the multiroom charge.sigpic
