    DIY Virgin Multi-room help?

Hi folks, I have recently upgraded to Virgin+ HD but the box doesn't have any RF output. With the old system, I used the RF output to feed to a hub and cascade down to all TV's giving me Virgin in all rooms. Only problem is with new box I can't seem to route Virgin output to other rooms. Any help would be much appreciated. I don't believe I am modifying any Virgin equipment, I just don't need a V box in every room.

Connect 2nd AV or scart-out from box to VCR or REC-DVD.
Either of these have an RF-output.

The last solution only works if you do not wish to view HD , my system has the vcr scart to my vcr/dvd recorder & the scart out from that to an rf modulator then a booster/distributer , the strange thing is if I put the scart output from the V+box to the rf modulator I get a strange picture but if I connect as above the picture is great

On most VCR/DVD recorders the cable-out connection is an RF-out. Just set rf-modulator setting in recorder menu to suit TV
settings & set recorder source to AV or SCART

that would mean the vcr/dvd recorder would have to be on , at the moment the scart just passes through to the rf modulator with the vcr/dvdrecorder off

That's true but you don't have to buy rf modulator

all depends on what you mean by old cable box... is it a an s/v, e/v etc.. then no chance, just a few channels,9 or 10 . if its a gen vermin box you still need a 2nd card... cards are NOT interchangeable...
