need help with sky remote..

can anybody help me , i have a LG tv, and a sky box, and the sky remote , but im trying to get the sky remote to work on the LG tv , but i cant match them up , because the LG tv is not on the sky remotes list of tv models ? all other makes and models are there but not LG.. help..

What model LG TV?

Try 0056

press tv
press select and red until remote blinks twice
enter 0056 and press standby
if tv responds turn it back on by using a no. Key and keep tapping the same number key to prevent the remote exiting setup
once the tv is back on test the volume button and if that works too press select to save code

here's the different bit:-
if the tv did not respond to first standby request then without doing anything else press tv then standby alternately until the tv does respond and then follow original sequence.

Effectively 0056 is a lg manufacturer code and pressing tv/standby/tv/standby alternately cycles through the models until a correct response is found.

My set just happened to be the third is the sequence so it was

select/red
0056
standby
tv
standby
tv
standby - set went off
any number button repeatedly until set came back on
test vol up/down
all ok - press select to save

m8 its the next list down after cale,, it says satellite, thats the one u need...
