What exactly is going on in the world of cable t.v.? Frequency keeps getting changed, causing a roll over in the keys. Are the cable comapanies catching on? I want to understand how they are going to cut down on illegal t.v?

its ok just scan your box again and they will sit ok they are just fixing the freq on some channels because the s*y are back on.

Happens from time to time , specially on the run in to Xmas , they cause upset in the hope it pis*es people off to the extent , they bin their boxes , and it works ! ( look at the ammount of "broken" boxes for sale on flea ) .
It also warns people off buying new ones .

If you ride it out things settle down again .

You see i've heard a rumour that people like virgin are going to change their systems in order to see who is using a dodgy box! so they can send out fines. I dont know how true this is though. Anyone know what they're actually brewing up?

They're that chokker at the mo , the courts are only giving murderers and rapists a slap on the wrists the letting them go !
It'll give a well needed boost to the building trade during the current credit crunch !
