    WHICH ARE THE MOST RELIABLE CABLE BOXES ON THE MARKET

    WELL RIGHT ABOUT I THINK ITS THE ARNET KRYPTVIEW BOXES, THEIR HAVE STABLE FIRMWARE AND AUTO ROLL WHEN YOU SWITCH YOUR SET TOP BOX ON/OFF....

        Not a chance.

        The Kryptview has attrocious unstable firmware, it depends on your region, many Telewest users find them unbearable.

        They have 1 man working on the updates, thankfully he is always on the ball, but if anything ever had to happen to him, where would that leave the box?

        IMO, you can not do better than any of the Linux boxes, Dreambox, Dbox2 (including clones), the rest are all wannabes.

            The Samsung STB that VM supplied me with, the one I pay my subs for.

            It has never went off..................

            Well the title did say most reliable and I think that one is.

                      Got a dbox and a dreambox 500c here and much prefer dbox even though its a lot older technology , dreambox spends most of its time on top of wardrobe and only comes out to for testing purposes.
