WILL starview be back? your thouths

we have herd from one person that the starview server will be back ready to go at the weekend?
we have also herd that its never coming back.
i se also that starview boxes are still sold with the bielive that they will get you all the channels.
i carnt se it myself that the server will or could come back,no one is going to take it on,the news is splaterd all over the net what happend.
kryptview is still going,but for how long?
and i asume that dreambox cable is still working.
im going to give starview till the end of the month,if still no comback,a kyptview box will be getting a new home.

its very risky , you go ask for a refund , the seller says dont worrie all will be ok at the weekend , weekend comes , all is not well and sellers done one .
starviews not worth the stress imho
id be shitting it wating for a big game to start , hoping it wont go off.

I just bought a Starview combo on the day it went down. Have tried to cancel the order but am getting stone walled by the seller at present. Should i wait and recieve my box or speak to paypal and get my money back ?

If youve purchased the item from a company then rules apply.

"Most Buy It Now purchases are protected by the Distance Selling Regulations, which allow you to cancel the purchase within 7 working days after the day you receive the item."

If you pruchased a second hand unit/private buyer, these rules may not apply.

why not use the sat side of box, much better anyway, and if server comes back for cable its a bonus.

Ok here's one is it possible to use a dream box or spider box to cs cable card? Cause then a private network could be set up

YOU CAN USE A DREAMBOX IF YOU CAN EXTRACT THE RSA KEY FROM ORIGNAL BOX.
