noisy box

hey guys bit weird this one but ive noticed that as soon as i turn my box on theres a really annoying loud hum that comes out of the tv, its only when the kryptview is on it doesnt happen when the ps3 or xbox is on just wonderinng if anyone has come across this before....maybe scart lead?

Try a better quality scart lead. Maybe try keep it away from the power cord if you can.
Try turning telly volume up and Krypt down, and vice versa...
My Old Starview suffered humming and was cured this way.

i presume you do not have an isolator fitted (white box on wall) if not fitting 1 should eliminate problem.

Dont know about better quality. I've removed ?15.00 Gold scarts and replaced them with 89p ones to cure this problem.

these gold plated scarts and hdmi leads and others are a load of b/s imo. they would only make a slight difference if the actual connection they are plugging into is gold plated too. On the other hand some are better screened than others but dont go crazy with your spending.

turn kryptview full up and lower volume on tv, best way forward forget about buying different scarts waste of dosh.
