While some of what you have written is correct, most of it is scaremongering.DONT BUY ONE, well you can if you want. you lost money on starview, and you want to lose again, your choice, but if you can get a sky dish up, take that route, if server goes, just get another, but box can still be used unlike closed source kv. people holding kv cards want to hand back after sv bust because readers need to be in uk, risky as ~~~~.
but your money, your choice, i dont like giving money away, if kv is your chosen charity carry on.
Sat is an option, but again its a paid for service, you either get a good share of someone, or you pay for a server. Paid for servers are often over subscribed and the signal is poor. Other smaller networks have excellent signal, but are much harder to become part of. Close knit community.
KV server will be back on shortly, as is the SV server. Your speculating at best, and dont give me the 20 years crap, as the cable scene has only been around for 15 years or so. And I was one of the original adopters of the systems. First with the jerrold boxes, and then pace/samsung boxes. And one before that that I cannot even remember the name of.
Remember people, your buying an FTA box, nothing more nothing less. If you flash it for other things, then thats your choice, however once flashed its different from what you bought.
@mark8393 you said you was told by one of the original importers that this would happen. He got a crystal ball has he? Or did he know about the police raid? AFAIK the original importer is the guy who got arrested, and is currently helping police with inquiries, so who did you get this info off?
Again, sorry, but your scaremongering, and trying to make yourself look more important than you actually are. Try sticking to the facts, rather than what you got told down the pub
