    new update not working

    hi

    i have been trying to download the new update from my kv box ,
    and all i get is a message saying searching for updates , and nothing happens , any ideals how to sort this

      hi

      what box do you have the update is for the A780, my update has worked fine and has downloaded without me having to connect to my PC.

      If yours is the KV A780 and doesn't pick up the download then do it manually by connecting the box to you PC and downloading the file to the box

              I'm no expert but is your ethernet cable connected to your KV in place correctly?

                      look in system info and see what it says,if it is current it cant update.
                      check provider for faults also.
                      do a factory reset power off box for 30 secs then on and scan without lan
                      channels loaded insert lan and exit reboot box,router and modem to get an ip

                                                      Tried again same problem,

                                                      Guess I must blow the dust of the 32 cable.

                                                      However im sceptical as to this update being required as of yet.

                                                          read post6?? downloads up above,did you know you can do a sw update from the net,box needs direct connection to router to modem.
                                                          check in system info what firmware is on box.
