I bought another box on saturday for a friend the seller i bought it of said it would not be going of for quiet some time. i already had a box for about 3 months so thought he must be right? but no he was wrong so i phone them up and said i want my money back they said they cant do that so i put a fault on the box and then took it back he said he would fix it if he couldent then he would give me replacement he could not fix it so tryed to pass me a replacement he had flashed the first box he gave me so i aske him to flash this one and i wanted to see it working as with the other he flashed it with 03/01/11 firmware but no channels were on i said it dont work he said its not down to him i said cash back please he refused i gave him another chance i said cash back as you have sold me a usles box and told me lies he said please leave so i smacked him one in the face before i left with both boxes even tho thay dont work...

As others have said the boxes are sold as FTA boxes, it just so happens that there's a firmware flash that enabled other features, it's not the dealers or suppliers fault that realistically that's the only feature you wanted from the box.

In the good old days before AU cards came out there was the same risk that the codes would roll and free tv would go off, individuals and the guy down the road making a quick buck had no real idea as to how long the re-flash of the card would last.

The one thing that you really are forgetting is that the amount of secrecy and lack of information has been what has been keeping the service going for as long as it has.

are you having a laugh i would have kicked you in the bollocks and took everything off you and kicked your sorry arse out the door, you pay your money you take your chance dont see you running back if it lasted 3 years ive dealt with *****s like you before do yourself a favour mate get yourself a legit box next time idiot.

Do you want to sell your boxes, I will buy them off you then smash you in the face for them not working. Then in a couple of weeks will have a couple of perfectly good working boxes you idiot. If people want guarantees that there box is always going to work buy a subscription, if you want to get it free then you take the gamble but occasionally shit happens
