The fta channels you mention boonie are not available fta on cable m8, you still get all fta channels that come through the virgin media network which isnt many at all. So you cant use that excuse to try getting money back take it on the chin and wait for it to come back online.

You wont get a sausage back m8 dealer will interrogate box and claim f/w that is currently on it is not firmware that was on box when sold (even if you have reflashed with fta f/w there are differences) they will also see that back ethernet cover has gone and claim you were not using box for intended purposes.

If the boxes are not comming back on which i canot see!

Heres what i think this may stop every one wanting to send boxes back to suppliers and may stop all the moaning, go the sky route ovously theres only 2 companys that know how to cs on cable kv sv why not just hand out the cs info, probobly money resons how did they get there hands on it?

re-desighn software open up the c-line like open box however this is usless untill cable users can get access to cs information which we know they hold,

I have had a dreambox for nearly a year now not doing nothing it would be great to have access to some c-lines

CS for cable on Dreamboxes is already working, theres people operating their own private rings. The knowledge is just not fully "public" domain or is spread all over place.

KV and SV are therefore not the only people who know about Cable CS, they are however the 2 biggest commercial public domain CS traders on the cable scene....
