Like ive said in other posts lets wait and see, the SV boxes have gone down a number of times, the servers have been raided more than once, people have been arrested etc, but still after all that Sv still comes back. So i think this won't be the last we've heard from the KV boys hopefully they will get the boxes up and running soon.

If not then ive had my moneys worth aswell since last August so I can't complain......keeping my fingers and toes crossed tho

Agree totally. I tend to just read here and post rarely but some of the utter cr*p being writen is beyond parody.

let's get real for a moment... What could possibly be the point of KV cutting and running and ripping of its customers as has been suggested in other threads? How does that further their business? They're in this to make money not fulfil some sort of illicit public service. I don't know anyone associated with KV but I can second guess them easily:-

1. They want to continue making money so it's in their interest to get things up and running ASAP.

2. Thet don't want to alienate us and so stop us making future purchase.

3. They don't want to go to jail.

Whether they will manage to fix things is another matter but if they don't it wont be for lack of trying. I got 7 months out of my A780 and that's a good deal and if it doesn't come up again I'll do something else in the full knowledge of the risks I'm taking with my ?150 or whatever it is.

Can always come back later when it goes quite and release a box under a different name and ask everyone to buy that instead...

Nagra 3 came along thats why SV 1-6 went bust

only SV n KV have worked their way around the Nagra 3 problem and KV are bringing a HD box out very soon so i don't think they have shut up shop.

SV have been busted a few times either with arrests or server being raided but they still seem to come back and sort things out, KV will be doing the same and from whats being said the KV servers are abroad so its hard for the authorities to locate and even if they have they will just move somewhere else and start up again......well heres hoping

Ive just had a chat with my 93 year old nan who i set up a kv lan for and explained why the box dont work at the mo and she said thats fine and if it gets fixed in the future great if not she will put up with normal t.v......no moaning like some people on the forums.....put things in prospective people ffs

SV6 was the first N3 capable box wasn't it?

I still don't see how the KV business model could ever have worked, You get a box for a one off purchase price which keeps going? Where's the catch?

Only had mine for 3 months,was going to buy SV but went for KV cause it was said to have a longer life span. My kids are stunned back to the council tv.

I can see your point about the kids being peeed off as mine are too but as i have said in other posts.........be patient as i am sure it will be sorted soon, but it could be days/weeks.

if the fix could have been done by flicking a switch it would have been done,bit more involved.

In my opinion im sure its being looked in to, however hard the problem be, Think back to nagra 2 when kryptviews were one of the first boxes to release updates when all boxes would go, they were very fast to release updates to get there boxes back on line,

There support for there boxes have been excelent im sure they wont go down without a fight, i put my hands up to there team they do a great box very reliable when up,

Hopefully we see some feedback of good results soon keep up the good work KV TEAM,

Well said m8.......people just panic to soon just because its not fixed in an hour or so.......i strongly believe it will be sorted soon but as i have said in previous posts it may be days/weeks.....we all should be patient and stop moaning about something we get free............to all the moaners&groaners do yourself a favour and go buy sub from virmin foooooooooking media.....
