I have heard from a fairly good source, that the main man has been released without charge, and that it was a member of the public that grassed, thats why he was arrested. He had in his possesion a load of kv's. But as they are fully legal as an fta box, they had nothing on him so had to let him go. As a precaution they had to knock off the server, and i have been assured that it has a very good chance of being back online within the week. They are just letting the dust settle, and rightly so. They have also gone a little further underground, to try to make sure it doesn't happen again. My source is fairly reliable guys..... it's never 100% as you all know, but thought i'd post a little good news intead of all the negative. Hope this has given some of you guys a little hope..... KEEP THE FAITH !

dont get it wrong... but could you also check whether there will be KV HD box... if this is coming then definitely KV service will be up and running soon.

It doesnt even need a member of the public to grass...These boxes are all over fleebay, google, forums etc etc... Anything on such a large scale is bound to attract attention from VM and the law..It's not exactly discreet or undercover is it..

It was always going to happen, warnings have been posted on forums from the start that this would happen... Not sure where some "muppets" get the idea that this type of service is reliable and will never go down..etc..

KV and SV, are just large scale traders, and as with all traders theyre in it for the money...Do you seriously think they care if the servers come back or not ? Whats going to be higher priority ? Avoiding jail time or putting a server on...so some people can watch TV, (theyve already made over a 100 quid of all of you..) so as with all traders when push comes to shove..they will always take the money and disappear...

Obviously theres still more cash to be made, so if they can avoid getting caught and the case disappears...server might be back...

It's no joke..high risk involved...people have short memories..just think back to modshack and what happened there...with jail time etc...

Less of the "muppets" comments please and I think we are all well aware of what risks people take.

However everyone is entilted to an opinion wheter it appears to be informed or not. Sadly this is not the case in the large majority of posts of late.

Modshack always had it's hand out to be slapped but that's just my opinion.

When the kv's return "if they ever do that is" open it back up again..but i did hear a rumor

Well as far as I am concerned, I weighed up the pros and cons of my KV purchase before I purchased it.

If it comes back on I will be very happy. If it doesnt then I will just move on. And either way I am satisfied that my KV box was worth the outlay.

I dont really see what else there is to say. Speculation on KV's future is one thing but hysterical claims about them cutting and running with the money is just silly IMHO.

If you take a calculated risk you should be certain that you can take the consequences.

Well said.......i posted a similar post last night after a quote from a member that was....stating a load of FACTS.....but it was removed by a mod for being insulting to other members.....but i did'nt see it as being that insulting.....no more than many i have read of late....or maybe it was my reference to rafa benitez??

I would never pay VM or sky for the shite you get on the channels you get I only use it sparingly for the sports, ok I've paid for it so to speak on KV but I have had 8 months out of it and before that I had a SV for 2 years so I have well had my moneys worth. I think half the fun in it is knowing you are not paying full wack.

I have a feeling it will be back up at the end of the week if not I'll just watch my sport on the computer simples.

I have a feeling KV will be up and ruuning within 2/3 weeks. I dont think KV will let Starview dominate the cable market, so for that reason, i think eventually it will be back.

And as for a HD Box by KV, that would be something very good, as it would be the first HD box on cable network. There isnt another HD box for cable at the moment is there? anyway, someone will correct me im sire if im wrong :-)

i had a starview HD combo 6 months ago, couldnt get a single hd channel, although non hd channels were working. So i meant, if KV released a HD box that would work on the HD channels. :-)
