Great news that we're getting back to "normal", done a rescan and got the sports back, however, will we need to do a rescan regularly to get the other channels back, or will they come back on their own. Sorry if it's a dumb question but I'm not totally clear how all this works.

Factory reset and rescan as already mentioned in another thread mate.

Just put up sky sports and wait til it connects to server, may take a minute or so but it will connect. No one I know has had to reset as it is the same firmware, servers, etc as before.

lost sky sports again has it gone down again?

i re-scanned and it found 77 channels instead of 52 but still none are working, i think some may have been duplicate channels, anyways ive done another re-scan and its gone back to 52 channels

Channels will come and go over the next week or so, give it time, think the sports being back on is a sign that all is not lost. Think they must be running tests on a daily basis. Looks good for the future!!!

sky 1 2 &3 on in dews, west yorkshire at this moment. as I have mentioned previously we had to be patient. And thank the crew who provide the service. be appreciative or be patient. all comes to those who wait and there will always be tekkys who can break into anything. that is the talent in this present day.
