Missing FTA channels (ITV2, ITV4)

Hi all,
I am in the Croydon area, and have never been able to get ITV2 or ITV4 on my Kryptview (but get ITV 2+1 and ITV 4+1)

I have tried various things that have been suggested, e.g. factory reset, older/newer firmware, but to no avail.

My connection to cable is direct, with no splitters and channels usually getting around 85%+ signal.

Is there any other steps I could take? Possibly enter a frequency manually!?

itv2 and itv4 are both encrypted channels on the virgin network. you will need a freeview tv or box to view these channels until the server comes back on.

ah I see, strange that the +1 channels aren't encrypted.

That said - even where the server has been on, neither channel has ever appeared for me (I tried once when the server was on, and today as I wanted to watch a programme toady)

i have a kv 780 and have never bin able to get itv2 either. same as u i can get itv2+1. just a quirk? its all good tho

You should check the connections did you make the cable yourself or was it pre crimped i made my own and a couple of strands touched the core or f connector and i was missing the same channels

its the official cable setup by VM, so assuming its fine.

Both used to pickup fine on my Eurovox

yes but if it a fta box you should get them and thats what they sold you so you should get them. SEND IT BACK

Both Loonie and you have the same amount of posts.

Four of Loonies posts were mad in 2009 and the other 80+ since he bought his KV in Sept 2010. It was about then he claimed his wife was a B***H, also since then he has been taking his grief out on us.

She must still be giving him grief and hes taking it out on us.
