7 Day Return Policy

If anyone is unlucky enough to have bought a kva780 recently get it sent back asap., i recieved mine last week and tried to hold on as long as possible,thinking they would be on early this week as said, now on reading they are of perminently i rang the company from which i bought it only to be told if i have it longer than 7 days, no chance of a refund.

if you read the small print and intended use then the box is working not faulty and by the sounds of it you have flashed therefore you can not return box hope this clears things up abit hold on and wait kv with rise again

under the distance selling rules you are entitled to a full refund as long as you despatch the item within 14 days of receipt for 99% of most items but you will need to return the item in the same condition you received
but please name and shame the seller

true if you are unhappy just go straight to a paypal claim

paypal will tell you to return it for a refund

how was the box sold to you?

if it was sold as something to unlock tv channels you have 45 days to complain

if it was sold as a freeview box then technically that is what you have so the 45 days does not apply but the 7 day distance selling rule as stated earlier in thread applies

so get on it quick


be warned though you wont get any money back if seller has blown them in and ran off with cash, paypal will only refund what they can get hold of from the sellers paypal account you may send box back and lose both


if seller is still trading in different boxes ect you should be ok because he will have money going in and out of his account

sorry just reading this back i assumed you got of ebay but realise this may not be the case so if it isnt please ignore

the 7 day rule applies though and the paypal rules do also if you used either

failing that a chargeback on credit card would work if you used a credit card

You do have the right to return mail-order goods so long as they are in original condition, but there are time-limits, it would be too late now.

You can also return if faulty, but clearly the server being down is not a fault with the box.

it was on the 29th march i bought the box and thats when Kv stoped working, i have flashed it but i have the original firmware from this forum to put it back, i thought if i was in at least 14 days i could return for a refund as id never heard of a 7 day return, the guy from where i bought it said if i sent the faulty item back after 7 days he would repair it and send back, again no refund, i did pay by paypal though, more advice guys please.
should i really name the seller?

well no i don't think so, he wouldn't have known kv server was down when he sold it, would be different if he sold it to you after that.

In fairness the seller has now stated on his site all kva780s are sold out, although he has lots of them but is not selling them as the kv server is down

Technically the box is not faulty although i did pay by paypal, i just feel agreaved i did not even get 1 day out of it and does anyone know if there is any truth that the kv is being replaced with a box called juggernaught on a different server. This is my last post on this subject as i seem to be whinging a lot, i will put it down to experiance

no offence intended to anybody here but,
we all bought these boxes for one purpose, which was to gain access to channels we didn't pay for...

don't get me wrong,
gotta feel for the guys who have just bought their box and seem to have got nothing for their money.

but at the end of the day, we all bought these boxes to rip off vermin...
i think its a bit rich to be talking about contracts, refunds and our rights as a consumer now that it has went t*ts up....

just my opinion.....

you have in truth flashed it therefore it is your with no chance of a refund as you will in fairness have it sent back as not as it came nore is it faulty sorry to be the bearer of bad news

and why name/shame seller it is a fta box you bought that is what more than a few of us have at the mo it is only tv only with all the repeats when working sit tight they will be back

fta boxes have a aerial kv dont so really you cant say its a fta boxes and vm dont let you conect to there service so its a bit misleading and false advertising but if you do a bit of research you can play them at there own game
