There wont be any need to ask. Just switch your box on. If it will connect to the S/W Update either Updating or showing Already Updated will confirm the uploaders are connected.

Couldn't control mine so got a sat box on its way. Only ripped the old dish off last month so having to get the ladder out again.

Doing this as a backup as the cost is pretty minimal and can pick up a server for short term educational purposes.

Fantastic timing by the Feds got to admit..all the KV crew missed the Cricket World Cup Final, Champions Leauge quarter finals as well...
Glad I moved away from cable ages ago, and dont have to bother with unreliable poor quality non HD recievers from traders like SV and KV...
Funny how many predicted this type of service would be unreliable and not likely to last ages ago, warnngs were all over various forums...But a fool and their money will soon be parted. It's lucky for those who have had their reciever for a length of time..and got their moneys worth...Not so good for people who bought recently..

                    traitor!!!

i was thinking of doing the same tbh,
i already have a dish up and it seems to be the most futureproof option available...

what do ya think it would cost to get up and running, considering im not interested in hd or twin tuners...?

                          no, i know nuthing

futureproof is a poor choice of word....

what i mean is with satellite route your not dependant on one server. and if yours go's down, you can take steps to sort your problem rather just waiting and hoping....

thanks, i'm gonna look into it......

the kv ain't costing me anything now, for such a small setup cost it would be worth having both.....
