                            my box is brand new and says no update needed but not got any sky at all no discovery sport movies or anything. please help dont know what im doing. im in whitefield manchester?

                                            new box is sold as a fta box only,it will need to be flashed with firmware first before you go any further.

                                                        Put the box on Sky Sports 1 and ait till it comes up scrambled or no video.

                                                        Unplug your router from the mains, after 10 seconds plug back in, wait one minute until the router has rebooted then switch the box off at mains, wait 10 secondes and switch back on. Make sure the box is still on SSports 1 (if not put it onto that channel) wait for at least five minutes for it to lock onto internet.

                                                        If thats not cured it get yourself another couple of posts and I'll send you a pm with contact info.
