Open KV780 Folder? In Said Folder Download & Save DownTool 0927.Exe To Your My Documents.
Then Open Old Folder In Said KV 780 Folder?
In Old Folder You Notice @ Bottom of Said Firmware List? Firmware File KV_ A780_24/08/2010 Download & Save Said Firmware Into My Documents? Trust Me, The Said Firmware Is Old But Sound. When You Done Said Manouvers? Connect Cable That Evastar Has Shown You Via You Tube To Your PC I Believe Its An R232 Cable.
Anyway, Connect Said Cable To Your PC. Switch Off Your KV Box Via Red Power Off Button On KV Remote & Switch Off Black Switch On The Back of The Said Box? Switch Should Be Pressed Up The Way, To Power Down Said Box? Disconect From You TV & Cable, & Ethernet Cable From Box To Router Or Modem, & Disconect Scart Plug From Back Of Said Box, & Remove Electrical Plug.
Plug Box Into Mains Near Your PC, Conect R232 White Cable Into Said Box From PC. Power Up Said Box Via Rear Switch. Open Power Down Tool In Your My Documents On Your PC Maximise Windown Centre Square Top Right Hand Corner Click On Download Tab, In Said Window.
In Said Box That Pops Up Named "Code Send" Click On File Tab & Look For Your My Documents Folder. In My Documents Folder Click On KV_A780_24082010_Bin & Said Firmware Will Now Be In Your Code Send File Coloumn. Take KV Remote & Press Top Left Hand Corner Red On/Off Button Then Click On Start Button On Code Send Box Then Point KV Remote To KV Box & Press Red Button Twice Next To Green Button & Top Red Button On/Off Once. You Will Notice In Said Code Send Box Firmware Will Start To Load From 0% Up To 100% Once It Has Completed That Task You Will Notice It Will Start To Flashburn Said Box Once It's Completed That Task It Should Come Up "Download Sucessful" Wait Till It States "Download Sucessful" Before Turning Off & Disconeting Said Box From PC. By The Way, Before You Disconect Your KV Box From Your TV Press The Menu Button On Your KV Remote Select Top Task It Should Be On Said Tab Stating The Word "Instulation" When Password Box Appears Type "0000" In Said Cascading Menu Which Appears After You Have Typed "0000" In Said Menu You Will See "Factory Default" Select Said Choice & Hit Okay This Will Reset Your Box Back To Factory Settings.
Do This Before You Disconect Your Box & Conect It To Your PC To Be Flashed. Let Me Know How You Get On By Following Said Instructions?Comment

The flashing method here is outdated. Leave the box power off until you have hit the start button then power on.MandyZcutz, Go To This Website:-

Forget all the pressing of the coloured buttons. Powering on after pressing start does the trick.Comment
