Freedom of speech? Lets be consistent

Over the last two weeks, the forum and the moderators have allowed untold and now unjustified criticism of the Kryptview Team - just read some of the posts.

Now that the service is getting back up and running, those who have 'behaved' themselves and simply started threads for those that doubted / slandered the Kryptview team to apologise either have their threads removed or closed by the mods.

Come on DK and the mods. Let?s be consistent at least and allow free speech. If not, are you going to remove all the incorrect posts - I doubt it and I thought I lived in a democracy!!

Let?s see how long this post lasts

        hmm...this is a forum yeah?
So people are allowed to post their thoughts on here, as long as they're not racist, xenophobic, etc etc?
People have done that regarding the kryptview, as they did regards the starview.
Two opposing views were proffered..this is what makes a forum a 'forum'.
You're problem doesnt seem to be about free speech at all..what you seem to want is a thread dedicated to saying you were right all along.....
And if THAT happens..i want a thread where people can come in and say how ~~~~ing brilliant I am...
        Fave replies from various threads

1: What the fff is all that about??? All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate
2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

Hence my question, why are the posts which were negative allowed to remain and those that are positive being closed / removed.

well, you'd have to ask a mod..but im of the opinion that the 'slanderous' posts as you call them are merely peoples views and as such contravene no forum rules.

any posts removed are removed for a reason m8, it might have been to prevent a slanging match breaking out like has been going on for a while now, what ever the reason posts are removed its for the good of dk, no other reason, we dont like removing posts/threads, but we will do if we think its necessary.

Ain't got a problem with the above, but lets have consistency.

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with mods closing threads but to delete a whole thread rather than offending posts is maybe a tad harsh. There may just have been some valuable or useful information within a thread that will have been lost also. Maybe somewhere along the line someone will remember reading something but cant recall everything they wont find any reference to it at all if whole threads are deleted. It is also a very good record for mods and admin of the past behaviour and antics of certain members. Only stating my own personal opinion.

This thread is yet again pointless and futile. What are you trying to achieve? If you do get consistency you'll only start yet another meaningless thread about something else so trivial that it fills a small part of what would appear to be an otherwise boring existence that you have.

Try chilling out and enjoying the fact that normal service has been resumed rather than waste everybodys time including your own with such pointless shit.

if any thread thats been removed contained any usefull info etc, then it wouldnt have been removed, only the offending posts would have been, as for keeping an eye on certain members we can still do that.
