my supplier says any old s/w will work
but i dont think so
he says it is automatically updates itself thro lan ?

it wont update through the lan the old server has been disconnected you need a null modem cable

sky sports 123 some kids channels a couple have been added daily here in clydebank

well it turns out that any boxes with old firmware in them wont work and the lan update server has been disabled so if your box wont come on so you have rebooted your router and box wont come on then you need to flash box with jan or march firmware ,check your system information and you will see your current sw info

you need a new supplier he dont know what hes talking about it does not update auto you need to select sw update via lan but update server is off
