I have an A750 with fw from May 2010. No channels are back so I take it I need an update. Any info for a noob such as which cable is required to flash the box and where I can get the firmware from would be greatly appreciated.

I keep seeing this term , "null modem cable". I'm not an expert but are you referring to the RS232 cable that came with the box??
