Understanding Servers

Im not to clued up on cs but its got me wondering and i know some of you guru's will have the answer instantly with KV when they went down i understand all channels going down, However when they came back only certain channels kicked back up.

Why is this i know they set what channels are viewable in the config file i thought this was ran from 1 account ovously not is it a p2p type system where by theres diffrent accounts hosting diffrent catogaries sports-movies-music so they load is not so high, how much is envolved in an operation of this size, how many people would need to serve for load balancing,

Can't see the KV being run through one server and one card !
Reason youve not got all channels is because they are simply running a so called "test server" with one maybe 2 cards, with only sport and asian packages on !
Im still not convinced a full service will return, maybe what your getting now is simply to stem the initial "anger" of them turning the servers off.
Also believe the HD box is bollocks, why release a box with an extra ?50,?60 ?70 profit margin,dosn't make sense!, unless ALL previous buyers HAVE to purchase one, eg all previous boxes are dead !!!

For an operation on that scale you would need a card per transponder that is generally 9-12 channels then ecm's speed throughout the uk in each sr!
