kryptview a780 stuck searching for update

hi, i was wondering if anyone could help with my problem. my box is still searching for update and is totally unresponsive ,it wont take a firmware transfer from computer but does appear to via box to box .when it finishes the update its still stuck searching for update any ideas? i,ve read the posts concerning this but so far no answer to this problem. oh this happened when the servers went down and since then no joy. thanks in advance to anyone with any knowledge on this matter

there is nothing to update as off yet there is no server up and running set updates please read through other posts and maybe you will see an answer to your questions it is now just a matter of waiting and waiting until or if normal service comes back on

im going to try putting fta firmware onto working box then transfer via box to box and see if i can revive it that way.will post the outcome later.cheers people

No matter what you do to the box at this moment in time will not make any difference,
We all just have to wait until the server is fully operational.

hes never said he needs new sw if he has original sw on a box it wont work hence needing to load latest stuff on so he will get some channels or am i reading him wrong ?

The exit button usually kills the "searching for updates" after pressing it takes about4-5 seconds.

still stuck

the box has been working but after the servers went down and i did a sw update it just stays searching ,remote is totally un responsive and box will not communicate with pc .when i do a box to box transfer it appears to be working but still the same end result.

try unpluging lead from psu to mainboard and refitting could be parts of you mainboard are not getting power ,worth a try anyway this connection causes a lot of problems

update issue

hi i have now managed to flash my box but it is still unresponsive .i flashed with original fta firmware and still the same situation,"searching for update" anyone got any suggestions as to what i can try? thanks

i have had a look my self and i am getting some sschanelss and some others on software 3/1/11i belive that is the one i have on it i have also tryed updatieng it when channels have been working but no good as yet channels are coming and going .if there is a new sw i cannot put it on and would like to no if any movies are working at the moment as i have none
