A780 HELP NEEDED

can anybody advice me my dad has a a780 kryptview now he lives in stoke on trent staffs and my brothers is now working but i carnt get my dads to work it scans and channels are there but not working on all channels if i do a factory resst would i need to do anything to box other than mretune and find network
also what network id is stoke on trent and who is my provider

HI,make sure you have the latest software on the box also are you in a telepest or nthell area

thanks for the reply what the latest sw and to be honest i rnt sure what area i am in it used to be cw with old samsung 2100 i am getting all the channels but the are encrypted all was ok before the swith off

if it was working before it went off it should be ok.to gain a connection power off box modem and router for 30secs then on

boxes that were ok before they went off and now wont come on need to be flashed they had old software on them and these ones wont connect to server so reflash with latest software and it will work
