yeah been off about an hour now, not had much probs with asians channerls b4 since channels came back, the rest of the channels were going on n off but asians for me were staying on quite long and not having n e freezing or glitching, but today is the 1st time

it does not matter what the names of channels are everybody was told this is going to happen when rebulding them,waiting time again people

when you updated the new firmware,did you factory reset and rescan from direct feed and lan removed.

i factory reset it and my ethernet thing is direct in to the box, what u mean by lan removed??????

when scanning lan is to be removed from box first then after channels are loaded then inserted.
happy now getting more and more and soon be all done.enjoy.

hi zee 24 u done only one thing wrong.be4 u start network scan take out your internet cable from back of your box.after scan your all asians channels will back

but my channels where working after i updated the firmware, only the asian channels went off after an hour after i updated but now have come back, and i didn't take the lan out.

not be be offensive but I dont know how anyone can watch the Asian channels anyway, especially the films.

They are very poorly dubbed and the obvious miming is terrible. Also when they break into song it sounds like they are singing in a cave.

The content reminds me of the British 1940 s films and the over acting is hilarious. I suppose they do have a car crash quality in as much as once you are watching it is so bad you cant help it.

Obviously the serious content, news, documentaries etc are as good as any other tv but the films and soaps with the attempt at slap stick comedy in particular are in my opinion very poor and outdated. The song lyrics are child like to say the least but I can understand that a lot is lost in translation as with other languages.

I hope everyone will take this post as it is meant. It is not an attack on anyone, more of an attempt to provoke someone into explaining the attraction of Asian tv and films shown on the likes of Sky and Virgin.

I dont have a massive amount of friends because I dont have time to socialise but I would think I have an equal number of white, black, and Asian people who I would consider to be proper friends. So far everyone I have asked would rather watch British and American tv and films because they say they are better made and more realistic and enjoyable.

I am looking forward to everyone's comments and hope to have a reasoned discussion with anyone who can spare the time to educate me.

Totally agree with you, I'm indian and the asian channel does my ~~~~ing head in mate, But on the other hand it keeps the wife quiet . (4 hours at a time movies)

I feel strongly about these posts so much that i feel compelled to comment about them . First of all i would like to point out that i am in no way a racist and my brother in law is African and my wife is Peruvian ! We all have different interests in life and that makes us all unique and less of clones and being boring etc. Therefore to make comments about the Asian channels and how people can watch it etc is out of order really. I used to like watching football in the 60's and 70's when it was an English gentlemans game with English footballers and Managers whose names we could pronounce ! I cannot stand football now because of the Hugs and kisses and dives on the ground when a goal is scored . Thats what they get paid for and whats more, too bloody much . Then you have the violence on and off the pitch with the Managers too which incites even more violence (Mr Lenin ) you know who you are ! Having said that , people love to watch this mindless violence and follow a coloured shirt into battle every week on the terrace . 22 grown men kicking a ball of air around and getting paid generous amounts should be more of an ambassador to the people and behave apropriately and be thankful they have a job !!! Nobody on here critices the supporters of football as that is their passion and so the watchers of the Asian channels should not be criticised in any way shape or form
