itv missing

hi my itv went missing off list 2 days ago re scanned tried different areas still hasent appeared confused as it was working normal before. anybody else had this problem dudley west mids

Yes mate mine is the same but I have two friends same network I'd they have itv and channel 4 does anybody know how to get them back on because I have to use audio ones please help?

Similar probs ere Factory reset got ss2 back but lost itv and ch4

working in other places,so maybe a provider problem

My friend has same problem.
His vm box gets them fine on same feed.

Have you tried the new s/w update via menu?

Going to tell my mate to try that.

Yip got new update, took LAN cable out, been in power search mode for a little now found other channels but stil no itv or ch4, it's not realy a prob like as get it on freeview anyway

Same for me - both ITV and Channel 4 are missing - though both channels can be found on channel numbers 853 and 854 (or channel numbers very similar).

curious if providers box has it running,is correct net id been used for scanning,try this factory reset when done power off box at rear for 30 secs then on,remove lan and scan from direct feed ,make a note of all the net ids nearest to you,try one to see if it works,if not,reset and power off again,repeat write down the ones you tried and failed on,things are getting moved about so has net id as well?
scanning wrong one you lose channels.worth a try

Im in Teesside and have not had any such problems so far. I did the whole reset rescan etc without any ill effect.

itv channel4 missing

just done rescan etc using knowsley tps same as no itv or channel 4 but disco on as well as fx etc (channels worth watching) i will put up with getting up off my arse and switching scart splitter over

I"m in Wolverhampton,no ITV or the freeview channels or the movies,got Discovery,SSP1,2&3,ESPN & Motors.Done all the scanning updates and factory settings,sometimes I loose most of these.Any help appreciated.
