when you factory reset and channels erased power off at rear for 30 secs then on,rescan from direct feed and lan removed
make sure you scan correct network and netid ,load the channels and reboot all units.
if your signal is low expect some missing channels fro list,and yes some are not working
as said before you need the 24042011 firmware on box first

what do u put it on for the scan all or network at the search menu? no ss2 for me yet arggggghhhhh

how do i know what firmware i have and is it easy to do?

thanks for the advice. i did exactly that(removed the power and then turn it on) but still no luck. can i add ss2 manualy.

to check what firmware is on box press menu-system info firmware is a date and you need to at least to have the jan firmware on box to s/w update,you would need the frequency of that channel to do a manual scan.

will be your signal strength thats the problem ss2 is a weak signal kv would pick it up no problem check your connections remove splitters etc

also i notice on my box there is 2 ssp2 1 working the other no not sure what the difference is though

plz help have tries s/w update more than 100 times it just gets stuck when downloading the update dont knw wot is going wrong. have the jan update so y is it not letting me update any1 out der with similar issues

have u a direct feed from router to box no splitters as well?

you may have to reboot box and router first before trying s/w update
