Kryptview a780 LAN- not connecting to internet

    hello mates,

I bought kv a780 from my brother today, it was working perfectly fine at his home until yesterday z.

I connect it to cable tv, also in router TP-Link

KV is accessing IP address from router at LAN, i can ping it from my laptop no problem.

but it is not accessing to the internet, i mean I cant even view weather information, or traffic information. and ofcourse no connection to scan the list of London channels.

    any idea whats going on?

I am using TP-Link 3G router, internet on wireless and on rj45 is working perfect at my laptop.

    any help very welcome

    Hi is it all connected.
Have you got access rules setup on your router?
please explain how all the equipment is setup?

all connected--- IP obtained from router -- 192.168.0.6 (kV)

no i dont have internet access rules for any thing on router.

      1) Wireless internet router, connected directly to KV through cable.

      2) I am connected on wireless to my laptop. ( from where i am typing now z)

      3) I scan the channels, i have free channels working, but i cant watch paid bcoz have no access to the internet.

have you manually assigned an ip address to the box of has it picked it up from DHCP?

does your router have internet connection to it?
where the cable box is hardwired.
