Had the usual Skysports 12&3 before I went on holiday 2 weeks ago. Have come back and these are not working. Have done a f/reset and disconnected the LAN etc scanned for channels with all the correct settings but apart from FTA channels all are still scrambled. From the forums it seems most are still getting SS123. Am I doing something wrong?

did u check for s/w update in menu instalation? if so what is ur boxs system info?

I didn't check for an software update because as the server was down when I went on holiday I didn't think there would be a new one available

well check let it unzip and reboot then reset and rescan.

Dont forget to remove you lan connection when scanning................

Hello ASEK , out of curiosity i did a scan with and without the LAN connected and i got more frequencies and Transponders to search through when i left the LAN connection out , so it does make a difference mate ! It helps to pull in more channels with weaker signals apparently .

Scanning should be done from a direct feed,therefore Lan will not be connected anyway.

Direct feed = straight from the wall socket to box!

I've scanned with a direct feed and LAN out it's same as scan with LAN in, made no diffrence to me.
Ones who sub the basic freeview from virgin they seem to scan and get more channel.
