yes i know the risk when i bought the thing and its a risk i took, but to be all fine and working one week then nothing but a few glicthy the weeks later!!! I know about the raid/arrest(!?) but we are told they were just turned off as a precaution, so why so long in coming back on???

I'll admit i dont know much about how the system works(sure someone in a reply will tell me) but there must of been a back-up or a plan B becuase they knew of the risk in what they were doing.

People say it'll be back up soon have faith, others say what we're getting now is all we are gonna get!!

It would be nice to hear off somebody who does know the guys(or even one OF the GUYS) and not just someone who knows someone who walks a mans dog, that knows a bloke in a pub, who has mate!!!!

I'm not having a go at anyone, i just think we(the people who have bought the boxes) need to know what is going on, if it is dead then thats fine, we all took the risk and at least we'll have a definite answer and we can move on to something else instead or waiting,resetting, rescanning, etc,etc,

everybody said starview died and that happened a longer time ago, kv not gone aslong and getting grief,yes its sad its taken so long,more to happen in next few weeks,they want to do it right but remember its not the same as the good old days,i hope for their sake they get it correct

i would say cards are placed near their chests and only they know as its none of our business,we would all like to know but its not for public release even tho its the public who complain.catch 22.
kv will be back stronger and better i believe and yes more waiting involved and that was said at the very beginning when they came back online,

Most of the KV dealers ive spoken to advise not to buy a box until the server and everything else is back up n running smoothly. They won't sell the boxes themselves because they don't want the hassle from customers and ear ache, but they have faith in the boxes getting back to normal, this is why the HD box is on hold until everything is sorted.

I know there are still some dealers selling the boxes the ones i know have just stopped until further notice but they have told me the problem is being and will be fixed.

it was bin laden that had the cards for the server boxes thats why the kv had toruble... but dont worry ive been told by a good source that all kv owners will have to wait and wait and wait........

if it was me they was telling to wait some more id be happy to shoot them.

i think all kv owners have waited enough and they havent got a right lot of channels back up to now.
might as well all move over to a system that works.

Just looking through many threads with very similar questions.

I imagine if I worked for Virmin and had an interest in stopping CS,
I would come online asking for more info, who are the KV team, how do I find out from people who know.....etc.

At least I would try to put off people having this hobby with extreme pessimism, be as negative as possible, tell everyone to go back for a refund.

Just an Idea but if one was to set up a national network that was free to the masses, bearing in mind the tremendous network of the organisations trying to track one down, then I think it would take a long time (months) to do it securely, (if at all).
I assume there are big risks in setting up such a free service and to ask daft questions like 'why cant the KV team come out and tell us?' .... well now..

Or then again is it an innocent question.....?
