Refunds are out of the question you buy the box as fta, and you only buy said box because you no what it capable of doing.Once you change the firmware the guarantee is null and void and you sure you dont work for vermin...............

nobody has to wait for things to get back to NORMAL and nobody is forced to go out and buy one of these boxes . We all make our own choices to buy them in the hope of receiving lots of TV for as long as it lasts . Its a RISK we all take and have no right to moan or complain because even if you have 3 or 4 months of the FULL package , its enough to pay for the box ! I have put a couple of posts on here lately asking everyone just to be patient and let the GUYS and GALS do their thing and hopefully we should see a marked improvement in a couple of more weeks or so !! For those of you not willing to wait , there is always Sly with the hefty sub to pay for the movies and sports etc etc .Comment

Nobody has to wait...move to satellite CS you can a way superior HD box with PVR for less cash than a crappy KV. A Dreambox 800HD PRO clone costs less than a KV A780, a Openbox S9 HD is almost half the price at 80 quid..
Cable is lame only anygood, for lazy freeloaderz or people who cant put a dish on their property.Comment

Ah ha thats the million dollar question we all want answered been hearing on here and other forums on or about the 19th.But dont hold your breath thinking of going over to the sat side myself,remember you cant beat the system but you can play it to best of your ability depending on your ability and nothing in life is ever truly free.Dont think i will wait 3 years though............I know you believe you understand what you think i said

Wow , i think that statement of lazy freeloaderz is going to get you some stick from the thousands of people who have cable and thankful for something free ! Just to let you know i will always look around for things that is FREE from the supermarkets to the Petrol pumps , not because i am lazy or a freeloader , its because i am wise and more money goes towards my kids ! I have cable and a Samsung 50" 3D TV to watch it on and believe me the quality is as good as HD with a 600MHZ refresh rate etc etc . Its down to personal choice at the end of the day and nobody will slate you for opting to have satellite as that is your perogative !

I love a good conspiracy theory,Just looking through many threads with very similar questions.
I imagine if I worked for Virmin and had an interest in stopping CS,
I would come online asking for more info, who are the KV team, how do I find out from people who know.....etc.
At least I would try to put off people having this hobby with extreme pessimism, be as negative as possible, tell everyone to go back for a refund.
Just an Idea but if one was to set up a national network that was free to the masses, bearing in mind the tremendous network of the organisations trying to track one down, then I think it would take a long time (months) to do it securely, (if at all).
I assume there are big risks in setting up such a free service and to ask daft questions like 'why cant the KV team come out and tell us?' .... well now..
Or then again is it an innocent question.....?

no server will be pay monthly, probably. if it's like ten quid a month for example works, out two hundred quid for the year including receiver. With more channels than kv, and HD, pvr as well, if you got a
Motorized dish even better.
Main point is your in control your not left shafted if the server goes down or has glitching issues, just change server if this happens.
or go traditional cs route buy an.official viewing card and share and swap with others.

Before forums I was once a freeloader and had a modded pace box on cable with a fun card, before by chance stumbling on the infamous novice angel guide and modshack , learned how to program my own cards, jtag my own recievers etc.
Ok spoon feeding for cable cs doesn't exist but sat ain't that hard to learn, better than relying on trader provided cs like kv and sv.
