KRYPTVIEW A790 T
This is what i got from other forums but dont know about any software available ! Some people think they are the same as the A780 with a different badge on the front !
its really meant for Ireland as it has a dual cable/terrestrial tuner (so it can do both the cable/MMDS they use). Other than that its pretty much identical to the 780.Comment

Unfortunately I have given up hoping a box will be produced for the Irish market
There been no movement since starview taken off the market. UPC closed it down pretty quick, but the guys seemed but amateur didnt have much security in place
Is it because its too costly to produce a box for such a small market
Or is the encryption UPC use a lot different the Virgin UKComment

I am sure there are small cable CS rings in Ireland.
The encryption is somewhat different in regards to ROM versions but because the Irish encryption migration went in stages from N1 to N3 and eventually N3, it could be said the information required was easier to attain in Ireland as opposed to the UK roll out where it went from N1 straight to N3.
I think the problem in Ireland is a matter of distribution problems as in trust and lack of it, or so I am told. (Holds breath waiting for traders to jump in

Have you thought of Sat as an alternate?I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment

Understandable if the guys have put the effort onto figuring it out, best keep it quiet and within tight circlesI am sure there are small cable CS rings in Ireland.
