Hi all ok here goes
why the box was down I had a virmin Vbox fitted tut tut, and I forgot how to cable up with there box fitted,
From the main wall box (signal in) they have run cable to splitter in, from the splitter out 1 to v box,other out one to router,
I do have 4 and 5 spliters, and cables,
can I do it with there box in and if so HOW LOL

never done the splitter thing,but maybe replace the y splitter and replace it with a 3 or 4 way good quality one,so basically you are just adding another cable to the kv box,dont throw out the splitter you remove,you may need to replace it if a visit is needed .lan cable is also needed from kv to router.

Cheers thought it was just one more just says the old scrambled but I ent don the reset etc etc bit ill try it again:

I did the same, because I have V+ HD, so I need some recordings on vermin box. You should replace their splitter with good quality 3 way splitter and connect all to that. Both boxs working fine
But as said by someone else, you should keep their splitter just in case
Another way is connect vimin box to RF loop out of KV. You don't need another splitter by this way. However haven't tested this as I saw this RF out after doing all the hard work as above
