cant get itv granada

hi all,been asked 2 look at a mates a780 as he said he cant get itv1.ive tried and it just wont come on and its a pain switching scarth leads when his mrs wants to watch itv for the soaps,anyway i have noticed itv london is on it and i wanted to no can i move this channel so it follows bbc1,bbc2 instead of flicking through to find it ? thanks

You will have to use the favourites menu.

If you move or delete it, it comes back in the same position after your box updates itself when its been on standby mode.

I believe you can turn the update option off in the install menu somewhwre but you may get other problems occuring if they move channel frequencies etc

just a couple of things really , have you tried another Net iD for your area if you have one and when you scan for the channels , make sure to have the cable direct to the Box with no splitters and LAN disconnected ok. Dont forget the ALL important Factory Default afterwards ! If all else fails just put the channel in your favourites to save you searching for it !

tried on another net id and yes it came on thanks!! but now missing ss4 and ssn or where they already off

To move ur channels
Press ok then menu move across an highlight move u can bring Granada upto follow bbc1 bbc2 like u asked

Have been having this problem for weeks No ITV1, I can only get ITV audio desc which seems to be London, no good for watching the regional news. I'm on the correct netid.
