You will only have one green light until the unit is connected to the receiver and the ethernet connected to your router.

bit lost in what you are trying to do,please say what firmware is on box as the update should have been done by s/w update only and factory reset and rescan without lan connected and plugged in after channels scanned in.
power off box modem and router to gain connection for 30 secs then on.
iconnect may need switching on and off a number of times for connection also.

Downloaded the 3.1.11 firmware for A750KV then did s/w update 24.4.11. At that point, the iconnector was working when the software was loading. Did scan on box without iconnector with the cable feed in. When finished the scan, applied iconnector and then it would say *module update failed* on the TV screen. Then the iconnector would show 1 green bar only, on pwr.
We tried another iconnector, which was working, so i realised there was some fault with the one we had. Noticed the iconnector software loader, downloaded it - when i did, the pwr green bar would be lit and also run green would flicker and would say *downloaded ok* but it still doesn't work when i put it onto Kryptview box.

Tried all these things unsuccessfully. I tried another iconnector instead and it works fine.
when i read on the download section for the iconnector downloader and s/w program, it say *to have the iconnector on and to press start on the loader* when i do that, it says *download failed*. But when i press start and THEN power up the iconnector, it does download but doesn't work afterwards. I'm wondering if this is anything to do with the problem? Any advice, I would be grateful.

Like you said it will only work after you press start then power.
If you want to know if the loading software has done its job connect the lan and if the link-light lights up your icon is ok.

if its just not connecting, have you tried powering box modem and router and iconn off for 30 secs then on.
also switching iconnect on/off/on a number off times it may connect then.

When I put LAN the link light does not light up.

                          Done everything else.

cactikid, i've even tried changing the router, just in case ... but this hasn't helped either. Also checked all wires, rescanned, booted, etc.

On Dw190s download section, he says *open loader, keep iconn powered up, press start, download*. When i do that, it fails. But when i press start on the loader and then afterwards power the iconn, it does download.
                          But nevertheless, it won't start.
                          Which is the right way?

I'm downloading on an old Dell with Windows XP - would this be a problem?

Its a long time since I used it. I'm sure I left it on but then again I may have powered off and back on but at the end it said success.

Righ I've just done one and you are correct. It only start to flash when you hit start then power on. When it finishes it says OK.

Connected to box and the box recognised it straight away and said update module then it worked.

One light then two then three and four and opened channels.

I will amend it in the download section.
