kryptview a780 automatic update 20/5/2011

I have turned on my kryptview a780 box today and there was a screen saying i had to do an automatic update. no matter what i tried it always showed this screen so i did the update and its still bringing that screen up? i cant even get any fta channels. any ideas, please help? thanks

have you done a factory reset and sw update and rescanned channels then a reboot of box then reconnect lan mate should work then

is it not the auto scan screen you see when you switch your box on ? if so it means you have lost your channels for some reason so you need to do a scan by first selecting ntl,tw etc network, and select your correct area and scan

You could try re-flashing the previous firmware with the null-modem cable, then update again and see if that clears the message
