cant find certain channels, HELP!!!

    cant find certain channels, HELP!!!

    Hi can anyone help me,
    i live in the bham area, and whenever i scan i cant seem to pick up channels like

    E!
    Nat Geo
    British eurosport 1
    TCM Movies
    Comedy Central 1
    syfy +1

    i have tried factory reset and scanned so many times,,still no luck,,,anyone eles pick up these channels when scanning?

    Have you tried switching your box off at the mains. If you switch box off at night it automatically updates.

        wrong way round m8 if you put your box off at mains it wont do anything leave on standby it will do a scan

          If the "Power Search Mode" is switched ON

          Menu/System Settings/Other Settings/Power Search

            thanks for all the replies,,,
            i have tried switching off at the mains at night, still nothing, but i have turned power mode on and put the box on standby for about 20mins, its only picked up the channels i deleted, how long to leave box on standby mode?

              only needs a few minutes,do you pay a bb fee or a package tv and broadband as signals vary?and are you scanning from direct feed?

                If you have a VM sub box
                Settings/Tech Stuff that will show which Net ID should be used.

                Reckon a TP may be missing as all channels quoted are on the same TP
                Scan the box direct from the wall socket without splitter

                  hi yes i pay monthly minimum fee, i am scanning from a direct feed, no splitters.

                    hi THANKS FOR ALL YOUR REPLIES YES I HAVE MANAGED TO SORT IT, I LEFT IT ON POWER MODE FOR A HOUR AND NOW ALL THE MISSING CHANNELS ARE BACK ON,,

                      Check that you are using the same Net ID on the KV as on the VM box
                      It may also be a local area problem
