TRANSPONDERS MISSING AND NO CHANNELS

ANY KNOW WHY LAST NIGHT I HVAE 51 TRANSPONDERS REGISTERING INTHE KV TP SEARCH MENU BUT TODAY I HAVE 7 AND NO CHANNELS

IN THE BELFAST AREA BT6 BY THE WAY I HAVE ALSO ASKED ON TECHWATCH

alex i aint a complete amateur/idiot the main question i was asking is are ntl/virgin disconnecting unauthorised feeds from the boxes at the end of the peoples streets after all without the feed from vermin i still pick up 7 transponders and yes the firmware is up to date and no i haven,t bricked it

so no i havent set it to telewest or chous or cable and wireless why would i being in a pure ntl/virgin area

not thinking your an idiot m8 sorry if i offended you but that what you get if you select the wrong providor ,all i would suggest is you factory reset and try again may be a problem with your incoming signal ?

also not with upgrades going on and things moving around it is well known at times for tps to go off and while repair is done then they come back,
if you dont pay a sub for tv or bb you are also likely for a cut off,also check if net id has changed when you factory reset and rescan,check your signal and quality levels.

quick update on this one did factory reset then a retune still only 7 tp so decided to check all connections still nothing doing am now getting bad or no signal message have tried the box in my brothers works perfectly looking like vermin are targeting live feeds going to houses without boxes so be aware my friends

alex no offence taken just thought you were trying to say i was a noob who needed spoon fed thats all

we need some solid info on the disconnection of live feeds so if anyone has friends out there in cable land can we try an confirm this



cheers cactikid as far as i am aware net id hasn,t changed in belfast and is still 00021 which is the one my box is on

ok m8 well you do get bad or no signal when they disconnect you can always open up pit or cabinet and reconnect or sub to there BB,in some houseing schemes in glasgow they used to come round every month and disconnect anyone who did not subscribe so everyone had to go out and reconnect but the seemed to stop doing that a few years ago

johnjoe,I'm also in the Belfast area i had this problem before,basicly what i did was factory reset,turned the box off then on again and rescanned all the missing t/ps came back hope this helps.

Second that, actually second time around we added all providers (not just nthell) and did network scan. Worked sweet.

nothing doing guys thanks for the info though looks like i will be buying myself a crow bar and some black gloves
