    Scrambled or No Video on A780

    Hi, I just set up a A780 Box for a friend. Flashed successfully with 24/4/11 firmware. I performed a factory reset which successfully found all the channels. Box is connected to a working ethernet internet connection. After about 10 mins of watching the box displayed "scrambled or no video" and this showed for all channels.

    Without warning the box went back to the setup screen and could not find any channels.

    Attempted factory reset and rescan without changing anything cable-wise and now does not find any channels.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there ,
    disconnect the Lan connection and then do a rescan after the factory default ! Make sure you scan correctly using your net id for your area and wether you are Tellepest or NTL etc on the network setting ok. Exit the menu.s and then connect back up the Lan connection . Reboot your modem and Router etc then hopefully you should receive your channels again !

        Hi,

        Just an update. My friend had to select "Telepest" even though he is in what was nthell as his provider. He has reported all working ok, thanks!.
