Help needed guys...

Hi guys, woke up this morning to the dreaded invalid mac message on my a780 box and unable to view channels. Tried factory reset and reflashing but to no avail... Box is 10 months old and i cant return to supplier as it looks like they have ceased trading as their websites disappeared. I have a feeling i'm left with a doorstop but any help would be much appreciated.

hi there, i dont know much but what i got from other sites is that needs to be returned to your supplier these invalid mac error cannot be fixed by the user its a supplier fix only. so looks like u r out of sorts.

Thanks for your input guys, appreciated! I know some suppliers pulled their websites when kv got raided just got to hope there's a re-appearance of the one i used as the box is only 10 months old and still under warranty.

I bought the box from yourcablebox.co.uk but have no way of contacting them. I know this is a longshot but can anyone help me get it back to supplier or Kryptview themselves for replacement or repair?.. Thanks!

How did you pay for the box? If you paid by Credit Card the CC company is equally liable with the supplier for the goods supplied under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.

I Payed by switch/maestro through paypal and yesterday i managed to track down supplier through paypal invoice. He's promised to get back to me on resolving the issue. So hopefully a happy resolution soon!
