network provider

hi its me again complete idiot, am setting box up can get all the way but when it comes to network provider part it dosnt come up seems to mskip that part can anyone help. l have it connected to the internet should l disconnect from the net, would that be the problem. thankyou

sounds silly have u ur provider cable also plugged into box?
