Do I need to flash brand new A70 box

Hi, can anyone tell me if I need to flash my brand new A70 box before I set it all up, if so what does this actually mean. thankyou..all comments welcomed

yh mate you need to upload the software on it and then update the software from the box. this will be done via the internet, so u must have the lan connected in ur box.

First of all you upload the firmware dated 03/01/11 by using the instructions posted in the Sticky's on this topic . Once you have uploaded that software to the box you can then connect it online to download the latest Firmware by going into the menu of your KV780 ! Hope this helps ?
