u can cancel ur tv and split ur line from your BB. but if you cancel your tv and BB then yes u should in the ideal world lose the signal for your kv. your phone does not matter

once you start splitting your BB, dont expect the signal to be high or of good quality, pay a min sub, that way your TV signal will remain good quality, the signal will be reduced if you remain with BBAND, but you will need BBAND for the Krypt to work, so you will have to bear this in mind before doing anything

The feed would have still been live. They rarely turn off the connections. It means going to the exchange box and doing it from there.

Long time ago i used to go down and reconnect them for that use alone.

My KV runs perfectly with just phone and broadband. I've never had Virgin TV. Even my old redundant dbox2 ran OK too.

Just get the basic BB and phone package and use a splitter to your KV box. I've been doing this for years now

You don't get any more of a signal level with or without the tv package it's a standard line there's not different strengths, its the same line that comes in ur modem and tv, before I've had my starview box and it was fine now I have the kyrptview and my signal level is 88, and i only have broadband, make sure there's not any unused splitters going anywhere in the house if so remove them this can decrease the signal level

it may work out cheaper to get basic virgin tv, phone and broadbrand package rather than just the broadband and phone subsription.

I was d/c from NTL cable 3 yrs ago, no prob with KV, I get everything just the same.
There will always be the odd glitch, but hey! its a freebie.
