could someone please answer a few questions about kryptview a780

hi could some one help me i live in west yorkshire and getting a kryptview a780 i just want to know if they are working in my area .sorry if it sounds daft but i used to have eurovox ex7000 untill nag 3 came along . so what is differace i know it plugs in to my live feed for cable then it is pluged into my router by lan cable and when the right filmware is on the box is that it ? channels

i would but i have a problem with tree as they would'nt put sly up because of them unless a moterised dish points a different place for foo tball then i would be happy but i think they point more or less the same way sly does some were over spain . why is there a problem with these boxes?

the problem is the box needs to be connected to the kryptview server to unlock the channels,
if the server goes down you dont get your channels, the boxes cannot be programmed to connect to a diffrent server. so you are at the mercy of the server which you have no control over...

ar does'nt sound to good then there most be plus points with these boxes does any one of you have one of these boxes and how often do they go down

i had a kv for years, the a700 before n3 , then the a780 after n3.

in my opinion (and its just an opinion) the kv780 is better than the starview stuff, but you can get stung.

its a gamble.....

Ive had my kryptview for 13 months and the 1st 8-9 were gd then we lost it for 8 weeks then since then its up and down and yeah i too am from west yorkshire

also i have broadband coming in but no tv as i told them i refuse to pay for that shyte but i have pluged a box in and i have some channels running through it. so is that enough feed coming in to make the box work or will i have to get a small sub

no as long as you got that you should be able to pick up all the channels that are workin good luck and good viewin
