Kryptiew a780 working and up to date?

i was thinking to get the kryptview because the starview 7 is no longer working. Are a few good channels like discovery channels still working? i am from birmingham can anyone give me advise if the channels are still working and up to date.

downloads above has the firmware which you can update online to current one which is 24042011,it is shown as a date also remember the 750 kv is not the same file as a 780.

If you already have a SV6/7, it would be cheaper to get that put back online and the channel list is similar.

I was looking to get a Kryptview... but by the looks of the above comments, it seems there is a better option!?! Anybody care to tell me which option will give me most channels?

Please bear in mind that i'd like a relatively simple box to install and keep. I used to have Starview for several years, and managed to maintain it myself but i am by no means an expert

Hi guys,

Can you give me some advice as to what the full list of channels are?, the main channels missing.

Also do you think we will get the full quota and roughly how long will the KV servers be up for any ideas?

Don't really want to be buying something which isnt going to last for at least 6-12 months.

Are there any other decent options other than sat route, and if not how much will the sat route be, I live in wales i would love sky sports italia for the footy matches but also Espn and Sky sports 1,2, and 3.
